A 70 foot cascading waterfall in a woodland setting within walking distance of central Ambleside. In the spring it is particularly good with daffodil's and good water flow.
An area of semi-open woodland now manged by the National trust and once owned by William Wordsworth and gifted to the trust by the Wordsworth family. Depending on the season you can see large areas of daffodils and bluebells
An informal woodland garden run by the National Trust. Located a little south of Ambleside with the Stencher Beck running though with mini falls adding even more interest.
