The Woodhouse Arms Grantham

A park east of Grantham in rural countryside, a pleasant place to walk with pathways through open country and woodlands. I can be a little steep in places goog views of surrounding coutryside.

Under the ownership of the National Trust, this seemingly old but not unusual 17th century manor house was in fact the family home and birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton. The orchard and apple tree where he had his eureka moment on the theory of Gravity still stands

A 27 hole parkland course made up of 3 loops of 9 holes, all of which start at the clubhouse. you can choose to play 18 holes at either 6490, 6278 or 6028 yards.. There is a clubhouse with a bar and meals / snacks served daily

A local tourist attraction, an ancient Oak tree reputed to be Englands oldest oak tree 1000 years plus.

Wymondham Windmill is a beautifully restored historic windmill located in the town of Wymondham, Norfolk, England. The windmill features a museum with a range of exhibits and interactive displays that showcase the history of the mill and the local community. Visitors can climb to the top of the windmill for a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.

The park is located just a short distance south of Grantham town centre, with open grassland Trees and recreational activities which include a Children’s play area, Bowling Green, Paddling pool, tennis courts and plenty of space to just walk and enjoy the park itself.
