The Cove is deep set with high cliffs giving it good shelter. Virtually no beach at high tide otherwise a good sandy beach and not too busy.
Buckator Beach
Near Boscastle - a rocky and shingle composition 2.0m away.Mostly rocky with extremely poor access. We have however included this beach as there is a large grey seal colony nearby and you can sometimes see this from Buckator cliff / south west coastal path

Near Tintagel - a sandy composition 2.9m away.Good facilities with a cafe, shops, gift shop toiltes and a pub in the village of Tintagel
Merlins Cave Beach
Near Tintagel - a sandy and rocky composition 2.9m away.Located right next to Tintagel Castle and only accessible at lower tides. The beach is not the main draw to visitor's but the cave, which goes right under and through to the other side under the narrow strip of rocky land linking the castle to the mainland.
Trebarwith Strand Beach
Near Tintagel - a sandy and rocky composition 4.0m away.The head of Trebarwith Strand Beach is made up of flat rocks and is about all you can see at high tide but as the tide goes out the sand appears. There is a car park, toilets and cafe at the head of the beach
