The Tor is a prominent landmark for miles around, rising from the Somerset levels that are relatively flat. At the summit of the Tor, stands the 15th-century St Michael\'s Tower though with no roof it is designated a a Grade I listed building.

This 6383 yard downland golg course is located near Shepton Mallet just outside the Midip Hills AONB. The course runs over undulating ground with 18 holes, some holes being tree lined.

Located on the town centre, the museum contains several old buildings with exhibits of the tools and implements that were once used, the living conditions and even live demonstrations. There is also a cafe on site
