About Port Isaac and the surrounding area

The village's coastal location allows for easy access to many notable places in the surrounding area. To the west, you'll find the surfers' paradise of Polzeath and the beach haven of Daymer Bay. A little further along the coast, you'll discover the bustling town of Padstow, famous for its seafood restaurants, including those run by celebrity chef Rick Stein. To the east of Port Isaac lies Tintagel, legendary birthplace of King Arthur, and Boscastle, both offering stunning cliffside views and rich histories. Inland from Port Isaac, you can explore the market town of Wadebridge, or travel a bit further to visit Bodmin with its historic jail and access to the beautiful Bodmin Moor. These surrounding attractions make Port Isaac an excellent base for exploring the charm and beauty of North Cornwall.
