About Port Isaac and the surrounding area
Port Isaac is a picturesque fishing village nestled in a steep-sided valley on the north coast of Cornwall near Wadebridge, England. The village is famed for its narrow, winding streets lined with charming 18th and 19th-century cottages, and a scenic, sheltered harbour where fishing boats still land their daily catch. Inland from Port Isaac, you can explore the market town of Wadebridge, or travel a bit further to visit Bodmin with its historic jail and access to the beautiful Bodmin Moor. These surrounding attractions make Port Isaac an excellent base for exploring the charm and beauty of North Cornwall.
