Near Helston - a sandy pebble and rocky composition 0.2 miles away. A small beach next to the National Trust Lizard point car park, cafe and toilets plus a viewing station. The beach itself is probably not one to bath at but as a destination for the National Traustyou may want to stroll along it. There is an old Lifeboat station with its slipway on the beach

Housel Bay Beach

Near Helston - a sandy composition 0.4 miles away. Located on the southern end of the Lizard Peninsula. One of those lovely beaches that you need to trek to , sometimes by a steep path, but you will be greeted to a sheltered sandy cove. Check out tide time as the beach is covered at high tide. Quiet and with no facilities. Park a Lizard point 1 mile away

Pentreath Beach

Near Lizard - a sandy pebble and rocky composition 1 miles away. Mainly sandy at lower water with pebbles at the head of the beach and some rock outcrops, a quiet beach off the tourist radar

Kynance Cove Beach

Near Lizard - a sandy composition 1.5 miles away. A fine white sandy beach and aquamarine waters , surrounded by rocky outcrops. As the tide recedes there are 3 smaller coves. The rock here on the Lizard peninsula is unique to the area with red and green outcrops of Serpentine (Serpentinite).

Cadgwith Cove Beach

Near Lizard - a shingle composition 2.2 miles away. Located on the East coat of the Lizard Peninsula, Its charm is as a pretty fishing village, not a bucket and spade beach. There will be a selection of boats hauled out of the water at the head of the beach awaiting the re next launch. Parking at the head of the village
