Near Bardsea - Ulverston - a sandy and shingle composition 2.7m away.Located on the north eastern side of the Furness peninsula at Bardsea, close to Ulverston. The Beach overlooks Morcambe bay and Ulverston Sands, care should be made regarding tide times and mud hazards if venturing too far from the land.
Aldingham Beach
Near Aldingham - a sandy and pebble composition 4.7m away.Initially a pebble beach at its head, sand appears as the tide goes out. This beach on the Furness peninsula faces east into Morcambe Bay but be aware of mud in the bay when the tide goes out. There is a small place to park next to toilets close to the beach

Near Askam-in-Furness - a sandy composition 4.8m away.Located on the edge of Duddong sands looking out onto the Duddong Channel. a good sandy beach, even at high tide there is a good amount of sand. There is also what appears to be a stone Pier but in fact is made up of old slag from nearby Ironworks which have long gone. A good beach but few facilities.
