The beach is not the main draw to visitor's but the cave, which goes right under and through to the other side under the narrow strip of rocky land linking the castle to the mainland.
Bossiney Haven Beach
Near Tintagel - a sandy composition 0.8m away.A bit of a walk along the coast path or over fields (sometimes with cattle in) from the B3263 at the village of Bossiney. The Cove is deep set with high cliffs giving it good shelter. Virtually no beach at high tide otherwise a good sandy beach and not too busy.
Trebarwith Strand Beach
Near Tintagel - a sandy and rocky composition 1.4m away.The head of Trebarwith Strand Beach is made up of flat rocks and is about all you can see at high tide but as the tide goes out the sand appears. There is a car park, toilets and cafe at the head of the beach
Tregardock Beach
Near Treligga, Tintagel - a sandy shingle and rocky composition 3.0m away.Located south of Tintagel near the village of Treligga the overlying coast is Rocky but Tregardock Beach is sandy (with some rocks) when the side recedes. A bit of a trek to this beach some steep sections so not generally busy
