Harlech Castle is a Grade I-listed medieval castle located within the stunning scenery of the Snowdonia National Park pearched on the coast with views of nearby Mountain ranges and the sea. The castle though ruined, is still very substantial and is still impressive.
A 12.25 inch gauge steam railway with a 2 mile run along the west coast of Wales from the village of Fairbourne towards Barmouth to the end of the Barmouth peninsula on the southern side of the estuary. (Passenger ferry then to / from Barmouth.)
