A public park in tye Cynon Valley near Cwmdare west of Aberdare,Wales. There are marked paths for relaxing walks in woodlands with some open areas, and with the River Dare running through the park this add more interest.

A good fishing venue near Hirwaun, the reservoir is off the beaten track but you can fish here (Fly fishing only) with good access. and an accessible path around.

A natural lake though dammed later to extend its size and provide water, south of Hirwaun and north of Aberdare, high up in the hills. there are good walks and panoramic views nearby.

The cottage was originally built for local ironworkers but was later the birthplace for the composer Joseph Parry famed for his popular welsh song Myfanwy, the cottage is now a museum
