Victoria House
Victoria House was built in the 1880s and has recently been refurbished and updated. Centrally located in Blackpool. With a 1 minute walk into town, 2 minute walk to the Winter Gardens and half a mile to pleasure beach, you are close to everything you need. We invite singles and couples, with discounts for weekly and monthly stays. We do not cater for stags, hens or parties as we like a quiet house for our long term guests. We have 6 rooms on the first and second floor, we are only a small place so we request that you let us know your estimated arrival time so we can greet you. We don’t have some of the facilities that the big hotels have, like spas, pools, room service etc. Please ensure that you are happy with the facilities and location before you book. We like to keep our review score realistic and not lose points because of location or lack of spa facilities.
Facilities include a shared kitchen with a fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and oven/hob and everything you need to cook your food. The kitchen is a separate room. Or you can order from one of the local restaurants and have food delivered. Seating is available in the kitchen so you can relax and eat. We have a variety of room sizes available: All rooms have tea and coffee, water, tv, fan and most have a hair dryer. All double rooms can accommodate two guests and have a double bed. Some of our rooms are en-suite and have a private bathroom with a shower. Some rooms share a toilet and shower. The Triple room with with its own private toilet and shower can accommodate 3 guests and contains a double and a single bed. Also available are hair straighteners (upon request), an iron and ironing board so you can look your best before you leave. Spare pillows are available in draws or in the storage tubs under the beds and extra towels are available upon request.
The town center is conveniently just a stones throw away where you'll find local cafes and restaurants, galleries, shops and bars. Houndshill Shopping Mall and the Promenade where you will find the famous Blackpool tower are a couple of minutes walk. The train station and local transport links and tram are also conveniently located within minutes. The winter gardens is a just couple of minutes walk so we are perfectly located for families and groups of dancers. Please check that you are happy with the location prior to booking.
