Pilgrims Progress Wetherspoon, hotel in Milton Ernest

Boasting a sun terrace and a restaurant, Pilgrims Progress Wetherspoon is set in Bedford. Featuring a bar, this 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom.

The Family Room was amazingly designed, loved the "apartmenty" feel of it with different dedicated areas. This room had both a shower and a bathtub. Central location within walking distance from main points of interests. There is a pub downstairs, their hollandaise sauce was to die for and have free coffee refills for the hotel guests, really kind service.

The hotel was in a perfect location, and my whole experience of staying there was exceptional. Everyone was so hospitable, from arranging an early check-in to chatting about the local area and giving advice on travel (it was extremely icy conditions, and they advised where to avoid driving). The hotel was spotless, quiet, and my room was spacious and with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

Staff are very friendly, showed us around the pub/hotel and the room. The room was nicely laid out traditional furniture with some information and books about the village and the beds were comfortable. Honestly I couldn't find fault with it, we plan to stay here again when we're next in the area.

The hotel and pub is is nice and quaint. Jane went out of her way to make you feel welcome and has big plans to refit the hotel. Shame the restaurant wasn't open yet but the themed mobile caterers every night were a great alternative.
