The Lymes is set right on the Devon Dorset border,nearly in Lyme Regis but just in Uplyme. Walking to the Sea front takes about twenty to thirty minutes , following the picturesque river Lym . River Cottage HQ is about a ten minute drive away. The Lymes is our home with just the two of us living there with two cats. Although on the main road to Lyme Regis ,we are in a countryside setting. Providing a comfortable base to explore the town and surrounding area of East Devon and Dorset. At the moment we have one en suite room available for bed and breakfast. This is ideal for singles or couples,but not suitable for children and families.However we may prepare another room in the future with a shared bathroom. A simple continental breakfast can be provided in the kitchen or in the garden if you like ,in the lee of a huge Monteray pine. Guests will have a private bedroom with en suite and and of course the garden. Jerry works full time during the week and Denise part time Some mornings. So Denise will be in for check in after 3.00 pm .We like to create a welcoming relaxed environment for guests to stay. Off road parking will be provided.

Jerry&Denise We have lived in East Devon for over twenty years and in uplyme for the last eight. Jerry is a Landscape gardener and was responsible for planting Langmore gardens in Lyme Regis. Denise is an ex Goldsmith art college graduate . We are both well travelled and have both lived in London ,where we first met. We have two adopted daughters, living locally,having now moved out leaving us with lots of space. Living near the sea is an important part of our lives.

Jerry&Denise’s home is located in Devon, England, United Kingdom. The lymes is in Uplyme, the village right next to Lyme Regis , about twenty five minutes walk from the sea. Lyme Regis ,on the Jurassic coast is a well known picturesque seaside town . Famous for its historic association with Mary Anning and fossil collecting on the landslips. River Cottage HQ is also very close to us. Getting around Bringing your car is best, although walking to town is a good idea to avoid parking problems. There is a bus stop nearby and the nearest trains are in Axminster on the Waterloo line. About fifteen minutes drive.
