It was a beautifully presented room in a gorgeous house in a gorgeous area. We had the warmest of welcomes and we were enjoyed our time exploring the area and up into the penines- it is definitely a good little area to explore with the penines to the north, the lakes to the west and so on. Could not recommend enough

The old church is awesome and the transformation to a hostel is excellent.

I have known Brough for a long time and have found the locals to be friendly and ready to help with information if required. The village is quiet with two Pubs which serve meals. I dined at INN Hotel the food was good. There is a village shop which caters for most items you might need and has nice staff. The village is a good starting point for outdoor activities. The village has good footpaths so easy to get around. Kirby Stephen is four miles away which has a train station and a Co-op supermarket and post office if required.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel has a bar and a dining room, and dinner was really nice. Just what we needed after a long journey. Very good value for money. Location is good and they have a large car park.
Staff were amazing and very accommodating, rooms and hotel was very clean, beds were by far the best I have ever slept in, slept like a log. There were 7 of us staying and everyone commented about how comfortable they were and how well they slept.
