The Garden is a large end terrace with an open plan aspect downstairs for the lounge/dining area and full kitchen. This is fitted with all crockery & utencils needed. There is a ground floor bedroom with a King size bed. Upstairs there are a further 3 bedrooms. The large double room is en-suite as is the single room. The bathroom is next to the double room & has a bath with overhead shower. All rooms at the property have keys for your security. The broadband is superfast in all rooms which all have a TV. At the back of the house the patio doors lead to a decked & planted terrace with seating. Parking is free in this area & the town center is within walking distance. We are a 45 minuit drive from the lake district and some lovely towns, villages & beaches within a couple of miles from the property. Hello, I am Linda & 'The Garden' is my property. It is only a 5-minute drive from my own home so you can be assured that I am only a call away. I will meet you on arrival to give you keys & show you your room & explain where everything is. I am a very friendly person who has lived in Barrow nearly all my life. I do all the beds & cleaning myself so that I am sure everything is perfect on your arrival. We have a diverse coast line with many different beaches and landscapes. I have been a host for over 10 years now and like meeting new people. I will do my very best to ensure your stay is a positive one.

Glasgow Street is in a quiet area of terraced town houses only a 5-minute walk from the town centre. You can shop, eat or drink then walk back to the house which is also is close to the major bus routes. The lovely park & leisure centre in Barrow are only a 10-minute walk away. Morrisons supermarket is 10-minute walk & we have many takeaways which deliver food. The station is a 10-15 minutes’ walk. The nearest beaches to Glasgow Street are on Walney Island. This is 10 minutes by car. There is a bird sanctuary & nature reserve here as well as a riding school & some lovely pubs where you can get meals. Furness Abbey is 10 minutes by car (or you can hop on the bus) There are beautiful woodland walks around here. Barrow is a 45-minute drive from the lake district and even closer to the ancient towns of Dalton where there is a zoo & the market town of Ulverston which are 15- & 25-minute drive away. If you take the coastal route to Ulverston you will see spectacular views across the bay.
