Slievescape is a detached dormer bungalow situated just outside Newry city beside the small village of Meigh. We are just 5 mins from the A1 Motorway, 5 mins from the popular Slieve Guillion Forest Park and only 10mins drive to the hustle and bustle of Newry City Centre. Slievescape is perfectly located for availing of various activities in the local area ranging from nature walks to shopping in either Newry or Dundalk (15mins) and within a 3 mile radius of the Carrickdale Hotel, Flagstaff Lodge and Killeavy Castle. The newly built property comprises of 4 bedrooms, a lounge and open plan kitchen / dinning / lounge area. For those pet lovers there is also an option to take your pet that can be housed in an outside pen (please note animals are not allowed in the property itself and limited availability to be confirmed prior to booking). Free onsite parking available.
Situated 5 mins from the popular Slieve Guillion Forest Park ideal for children with its Giants Lair and adventure park the Ring of Guillion also offers a variety of things to do for visitors to enjoy the countryside. Walkers and cyclists can follow a number of routes ranging in length and difficulty all of which give users the chance to explore the geology, archaology, wildlife and legend of the area. Anglers are also catered for and can enjoy high quality game and coarse angling at a number of premier locations. For equestrian enthusiasts, there are two centrally located equestrian centres, one near Mullaghbane and the other at Forkhill. A jetty for watersports is also available at Camlough.
