Lovely people, very comfortable, perfect for one night. Nice continental breakfast with decent ground coffee for the cafetière.
Beautiful little town right on the water. Very walkable with great restaurants and coffee shops. Not much in the way of shops but we were ok with that. People were very friendly and looked like they love their town. Very close to Belfast so if you’re there for the city it was a great place to stay and rela without being in the hustle of the city. I would definitely go back and next time stay longer!

We have alot of kids mainly older teens and young adults who looked after our 2 very young children at home so me and my husband could have a night away to ourselves I would have loved to have stayed another few nights but we all have work and so do the older children ..... The reason we would have loved another few nights was so we could go exploring there are so many places to go walking around the edge of the water also the trains are very regular so you could have went into Belfast or somewhere half hour away then came back to Bangor to escape the noise of the city there are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from to eat at also ..... We went to a mexican place around the corner from where we stayed for lunch portion sizes were huge and it tasted amazing for dinner we went to a place called Oregano I think .... It's up near the train station and it has thee best spaghetti carbonara I've ever had in my life

Bangor is a traditional seaside town with all the amenities you would expect. The people were all very welcoming to us (English visitors). We hope to visit again in better weather. We had a bit of sunshine during our (March) trip but also rain and cold wind. There are also some other pretty little villages not far away down the coast and along nearby Strangford Lough. Travel to and from Belfast is easy by car or train.

Pleasant seaside town with attractive marina and a good range of shops. Parking seems to be easy (albeit I was there off season) and free. Some bits of town very run down, like many resorts, but mostly quite nice and has been improved. Very handy for city airport and transport links to Belfast are good.

I was only there for one night so it would be unfair to comment too much but it was friendly as I went for an evening walk. Like many seaside towns, its tired in places but there looks as if there is plenty of good about Bangor.

Loved down by the marina, the children’s play and adventure section, mini train ride and sitting watching the peaceful waters and the world go by but if you bring a car there would be much to experience.
Cool and interesting property full of eclectic charm. Each room is individually furnished and has a different style.
Super friendly host and great staff.
Food was fantastic, great breakfast which is different to your usual fare. This place is a Bangor institution and is very popular with the locals for food, coffee and cakes.
Great value for money.
Lovely view of Ballyholme Bay.
If you are looking for something more interesting and personal than your typical hotel then this is worth considering.
A lovely and large place to stay, a flat over several floors, with everything you could need. It made it clear why staying in a self-catering property can be so much better value and more convenient than a hotel. It was beautifully decorated and full of interesting "objects", art and books. The main bedroom was light and airy. Only a very short walk into the station, so a good base for visiting Belfast.
Just amazing experience staying in Princetown Guesthouse from the very welcoming greeting by the host and explaining the area, the spacious super comfortable room with sea view and very soft and comfortable beds, tea, water, coffee and cookies, tasty breakfast :) the location is superb with a short walk to the beach and train station. One of the best places I have stayed ❤
Location was great for visiting family in the area and it was about a 15-20 minute walk into Bangor town centre. We had a three night stay and the house provided a lot more flexibility than you get when staying in a local B&B or hotel. Parking was on the street and we were always able to park fairly close to the property.
We liked everything. The house, the place, the local facilities and all the facilities laid on at the house by our host. We thought parking might be difficult, but not at all, there was a dedicated space.
A fabulous house, in a brilliant location. Spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, spacious. The best holiday let we’ve ever experienced. Would return in a heartbeat.
The location near the marina was a bonus and parking was good but not too many spaces
There might be available to park on the street but not sure of it was free
Hotel is not clean needs a refamp breakfast was terrible got a hair asked for it to be changed they took the hair of and brought the same breakfast back out
