I can't fault this B&B ... I've stayed in lots of hotels and I can honestly say this is the most comfortable n relaxed atmosphere I've ever experienced... the owners went way above to please guests and nothing was any bother if we required assistance. I will definitely return

Having had stayed previously, the Alona never seems to disappoint. Absolutely great location, especially if you want to chill after a long day one the road (in my case). You can chill in your room, bar, restaurant or go for a nice walk in the park. The location is absolutely gorgeous and gives access to motorway into Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The staff are always very warm and welcoming and always professional. The food in the restaurant is very good too.

Very helpful staff and a special mention for Veronika, who provides excellent customer service and attention to individual requirements.
The hotel is located beside 2 restaurants, it also has excellent access to motorways for travelling both North and South, or less than 10 minute drive/taxi to train station which has regular trains to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling etc.
