Comfortable room with a good view. Continental breakfast always had plenty of choices. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Plenty of off road parking. Great fluffy and large bath towels. Coffee and biscuits replenish every day in the room with the option of free drinks from a machine downstairs 24/7.

Excellent location and food (the reason for our trip). I had been there to eat before but never stayed. The room was recently refurbished and well decorated but was really small. I mean tiny! Not a problem as we only stayed the night arriving late and leaving early but not suitable if you want to sit and read - you need to use the bar for that.

Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time...
Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time to explore! Check out the Angus McCaskill museum for some quirky entertainment; the School House for a wonderful, hearty meal; Dunvegan Castle for a fantastic history lesson and some great walking paths; Two Churches walk up to the standing stone; and Misty's for a quick bite and some ice cream. Dunvegan is in a beautiful area of Skye and centrally located with easy access to the Cullins, and Portree. The weather was rainy most of the visit but we still managed to have a wonderful time and see the sights.

Dunvegan is in the North of the island, perfect for visiting Dunvegan castle, the coral beaches, Neist Point light house, carbost and the talisker distillery. Plenty of walks in and around the area. Dunvegan suffering a wee bit like many places from lack of staff making some hotels ,restaurants having to reduce opening hours but dont let that put you off as always somewhere open . It will get better as more tourists arrive ,our trip was very much at the end of a very strange summer season .We have stayed in the area many times and will most certainly return before too long .

Great tv and loved the wood burning stove. The view of McLeods table mountains from the front living room is spectacular. The kitchen is great plus the owner left some lovely brownies and biscuits, lovely touch after our long drive to Skye. Plenty of handwash and bathroom towels, and loo paper, the owner has thought of everything to enable us to have a super holiday. Perfect location from which to explore the wonders of northern Skye (like Quiraing and Neist Point) Everything about Atholl House feels warm and cosy. The lounge with fire place is a wonderful place to unwind after a day of exploring or play a board game with a drink after dinner. Breakfast and the dinner offered are exceptional. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly kind and made you feel taken care off.

Kati was very responsive to all texts and quickly responded to any concerns we had.

We were offered a glass of wine on returning from our dinner at the the Old school Restaurant on our first night. We had the shared bathroom to ourselves for our two night stay and we could use the kitchen facilities when we wanted a cup of tea etc. Dunvegan had lots to offer and close to some amazing sites on Skye. Good Fish and Chips at the Misty Café/Res.

Beds were great for a good sleep. Heating worked well. Great to have a washer and dryer after days of hiking. WiFi worked well. Nice to have the benefit of free entry to Dunvegan castle.
