Helpful locals.
Clean and tidy streets.
Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade.
Many outdoor facilities to choose from.
Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks, people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄.
This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ).
Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch.
We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Didn't spend a huge amount of time in Balloch bit did a Loch Cruise with Sweeneys which was very pleasant. Also took a walk through the Castle Park and saw a Red Squirrel there, park is beautiful too which also has a walled garden. Lots of places to eat in Balloch and big Coop open 7 days a week until 10pm

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

Host Andrea, was friendly, attentive, personable and obliging. The guesthouse is small, cosy, reasonably priced for Balloch, clean, nicely decorated with personal touches. The breakfast was tasty plentiful, fresh and again presentation and touches makes a huge difference. The location was not far from Balloch Castle Park 5 min walk, Loch Lomond Shores shops 20 mins, boat trips 10 mins etc, restaurants 15 mins, all of which suited our purpose. Our stay was a positive and enjoyable experience. and I feel it is a guesthouse with a lot of heart!
This hotel is in a stunning location with beautiful Loch views. The hotel is absolute stunning, we stayed in a Suite which was exceptional. Food and drinks options are great and all great quality. For me what sets the place apart from other hotels is the staff and service they provide. Every staff member we encountered were very professional, friendly and so helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us throughout. We were well looked after and had an outstanding stay!! we will definitely be back.
Very friendly welcome from our hostess, close to Balloch but nice and quiet. Quite a novel place, as it’s created within old farm outbuildings. Very tasty breakfast served to your room. (The best scrambled eggs I’d had in a week of travelling!) There’s a microwave in the room which could be useful if you don’t want to eat out all the time. As there were four of us our hostess offered us use of a sitting area, and there’s tables and chairs in the courtyard too.
Immaculate rooms, very comfy massive bed and the most amazing pillows. Very friendly, helpful staff. A wee bit of work going on still but a beautiful place even with that. The location is perfect for eateries, bars, shops and the train station is across the road and as this is the end of the line you don't have noisy trains passing. Loch cruises are very close by too. Definatly worth a stay if you're looking to explore Balloch and Loch Lomond.
clear instructions were provided and user manual
Well equipped kitchen
Very friendly and welcoming staff
Beautiful view and lovely place
Beautiful furnishing
Homie place
I loved the storage area it is spacious(it is like a small room inside the bedroom)
Front view are large glass windows, so you’ll have to weigh the privacy versus the view
Very good heating system
Lovely clean apartment that was a step up from hotel accommodation. Great bathroom and a kitchen area that was just what we needed for an overnight stay.
Grounds were delightful both to spend time and to walk Sid...the dog!
Great views of surrounding hills including the Munro Ben Lomond....and a short walk to get fabulous views of the Loch.
Lovely spacious property, with a nice garden. Modern furnishings. Shower was lovely too.
Nice quiet area, which is in easy walking distance to shops, pubs, restaurants and the loch. There’s a bus route on the property’s street, and train station is a 10 minute walk away. All the local people we spoke to were all friendly and welcoming.
Balloch House is conveniently located near the train station overlooking the river. Accommodation is over a beautifull pub, where breakfast is served. My room was clean and well decorated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great service! It is a perfect base to explore Loch Lomond. Not far from Glasgow airport.
The hotel was spotless and in the best location. We upgraded to a suite, which was very worth it. The view was outstanding. The restaurant was lovely, and the cafe was great for rolls and sausage in the morning. Have been to other hotels in the area, but this is the best. I will definitely be back.
Gorgeous location, the views from the restaurants are fabulous. The room was comfortable and modern. There is a small beach next to the hotel as well as a beautiful twenty minute walk along the Loch side to the Loch Lomond Shores shopping center, which is worth a visit.
Very comfortable place
Good location - Quiet and peaceful
Highly recommended to anyone who loves nature
Balloch is one of the most beautiful and romantic places in Scotland.
Walking distance from the train station to the apartment 👌👌👌
Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Great location in Ballach, right on the bus route which was handy as we didn't have a car and only 10 mins walk from the train station. The hotel itself was quiet and staff friendly.
Hotel was actually separate from the Queen of the Loch building, but it made for a quiet room away from the restaurant. Room was simple, but fairly comfortable. Good location if you're exploring Loch Lomond area.
Comfortable room, spacious, very clean. Delicious breakfast. Location is grat, 10 min from Balloch train station. All my expectations were fulfilled, we spend 2 great nights.
Squeaky clean, well equipped, spacious, great service and delicious breakfast (scrambled eggs from eggs laid fresh from the hens there in the morning, what more can I say)!
We've been told that the hotel is new, and it was day 3 of it is opening when we arrived, the location was amazing, staff was so friendly and the caffe was nice
Cameron house hotel is fabulous. The location is breath taking, the staff are very attentive and accommodating, and the range of activities are brilliant.
