The Big Sheep is approximately 2.4 miles by road from Surfs Up Lodge in Westward Ho!, with the drive taking around 8 minutes. Guests wishing to walk can follow a route of approximately 2.3 miles, taking around 43 minutes on foot. Although the distances are almost identical, the walking and driving routes are very different, following separate paths for much of the journey before approaching the attraction from different directions.
