Newbiggin South Beach

Near Ashington - a sandy and rocky composition 1.8 miles away. The southern end of Newbiggin has the South Beach bordered by the rocky outcrop of Spital Point, and similar to the North Beach (which each beach naturally transitions into each other) the beach is sandy , popular with water sports and backed by a promenade

Newbiggin North Beach

Near Ashington - a sandy and rocky composition 2.1 miles away. One of two beaches in Newbiggin Bay, the north beach is bordered to the north by Newbiggin point, a low level rocky promontory creating a natural end to the sandy beach and a good place for rock pools. There is a promenade following almost the entire bay.

Cambois - North Beach

Cambois South Beach

Near Ashington - a sandy composition 3.3 miles away. Located close to Cambois and East Bedlington, with the town of Blyth to the south. A sandy beach with a small rock outcrop just of the beach in easy view called \"The Rockers\". Good for beach walks, bathing and fishing. But few immediate facilities nearby other than parking under the railway bridge near West Bridge Street and a cafe before the bridge

Cresswell Beach

Near Ashington - a sandy composition 3.7 miles away. Located on the end of Druridge Bay, a sandy beach backed by low sand dunes and with two parking areas close to the beach. The beach is shallow and goes out some say, popular with water sports enthusiast's, bathing and sea anglers. There is a cafe on the main coast road near the beach car park.
