A somewhat hidden falls though it is signposted within the village to walk to . The Snowdon mountain railways passes over it and you will hear the roar or the falls before seeing it.
The main station within Llanberis village to start the 4 mile steep accent of Snowdon to the summit via a narrow gauge rack and pinion rail line. The line uses a mix of traditional steam engines and newer diesel engines. There is a large car park adjacent.
A mountain, one on the welsh 3000 in the Glyderau mountain range and close to the Marchlyn Mawr lake used as a header source for the Dinorwig Hydro Electric power station. The mountain can clearly be seen from Llanberis
