The budget hotel is located just off the M1 junction 22 with the A511 and A50 north of Leicester. Ideal as a stop over when travelling north /south along the M1 motorway and for areas north and west of Leicester with the National space centre within easy reach north or Leicester (8.8 miles by road). A great place to stay / stopover for the East Midlands Airport to the north of the hotel


Locally and within a reasonable drive the Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood is a great place to visit with parkland , some area of rugged rock outcrops and lakes. The park also contains the ruined birthplace of Lady Jane Grey, former queen of England, known as the 9 day queen.

North east of the hotel and a further outdoor attractions include the Beacon Hill Country Park a relaxing place to visit with walks, and wildlife and the 248m summit gives fine views across Leicestershire. the geology of the park is also interesting with rock outcrops formed by very old (700 million years) rocks. there is a small charge for admission
