Minnis Bay Beach

Near Birchington-on-Sea - a sandy composition 0.2 miles away. Located on the Isle of Thanet East of Margate, A blue flag sandy beach with a promenade, and a good amount of parking at right angles all along the road next to the promenade. St. Mildreds Bay Beach

Near Margate - a sandy and rocky composition 2.7 miles away. A predominantly sandy beach with just a few rocky areas east of Margate. This Blue flag beach has a slipway and steps if you wish down to the sand for easy access. Good facilities including toilets, parking and eateries.

Reculver Beach

Near Herne Bay - a shingle composition 3.3 miles away. A shingle beach, generally quiet A beach with Rock defenses as the top then a shingle beach. There are several places to eat cafe, pubs takeaways etc with parking and toilet's. Look out for the twin towers of a ruined church high up on the hill nearby which also give good views .
