Near Helston - a sandy composition 2.5 miles away. A National Trust beach in a small sheltered cove on the western side of the Lizard Peninsula. The beach is backed by sand dunes an a small church (hence the name). There is parking and toilet available nearby. A cafe is available in the next bay (Poldhu Beach) 17 mins walk.

Jangye Ryne Beach

Near Helston - a sandy and rocky composition 2.5 miles away. Quite a rocky beach, with some sand interspersed within fingers of rock going out to sea. Very close by you will find Church Cove beach with more sand.

Polurrian Cove Beach

Near Helston - a sandy composition 2.7 miles away. A lovely golden sand beach, wide a and facing west, as such it does pick up swells which surfers may appreciate. The beach however has plenty of room to play in the sand. No immediate parking here but there is some at Mullion Cove 10 minutes walk away

Loe Bar Beach

Near Porthleven - a sandy and shingle composition 3.8 miles away. Located midway between Porthleven and Gunwalloe beaches, This raised sand and shingle bar holds back the inland freshwater lake , Loe Pool. there are no facilities at this location
