Thornleigh Hotel

An 18 hole ,6412 yard course with tree-lined fairways in the Cheshire countryside, just 3 miles east of central Chester. There is a driving range, and practice area plus a clubhouse, bar and food available.

The walls constructed by the Romans , part of which you can walk atop and there are also guard towers in places.

Also known as the Phoenix Tower, or the Newton Tower is a grade I listed building and medieval tower built with the distinctively red sandstone. The tower is part of the City Walls.

Cared for by English Heritage, this is the largest Amphitheatre dating bach to the Roman era in Britain and located very close to Chester City Centre. There is Free Entry to this historic attraction
