The Premier Inn Cirencester hotel is located approximately 1 mile south of the main shopping high street in this peaceful market town
though the hotel itself is positioned on the Kings Meadow retail area .
The town of Cirencester is packed with history and heritage with many Roman related attractions, and pretty Cotswold stone based architecture.
Access to the hotel is very good by road with the A417 running past the town, it has a junction both north and south of the hotel giving easy access fro either direction with a minimum of deviation from the route. Unfortunately cirencester does not have its own railway station any more ( it had 3 a one point) however the village of Kemble just under 5 miles to the south west is on a main line and can be used if you want to travel by train. Incidently Kemble is a close to the cotswold Airport for buisiness and light plane flights.
The Premier Inn hotel is a great base for touring the Cotswolds, much of which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with picture perfect villages many made with the distinctive honey coloured stone of the area and derived from Limestone often with small fossils of sea creatures. The landscape is a pleasant rolling characteristic. which make for pleasant touring and hidden gems appear as you drive.
The Cirencester Premier Inn is a new build, and as such contains many of the new innovations from the brand wich include free parking, 42" flat screen TV's, free WiFi, air conditioning, an onsite Beefeater restaurant, lifts and disabled access.
