Near Bude - a sandy pebble and rocky composition 1.3 miles away. A rocky, shingle beach below cliffs on the west Devon coast that even boasts its own waterfall. Access to the beach is via narrow lanes but it is signposted 'Welcombe Mouth ' . Look out for the interesting folded rock feature in the cliffs. There is a car park on the cliffs.

Sandymouth Beach

Near Bude - a sandy composition 4.3 miles away. Located north of Bude, a natural sandy beach backed by cliffs , unspoilt with a National trust car park and cafe. At high tide the beach is small but it has its own waterfall, at low tide it transforms to a big wide open beach. Can get very busy in peak season.
